Study Room Project
What better way to relax. Your very own colour blended reading room, designed with soft subtle colours along with indirect lighting to keep the mood chilled. Using the dark pastel blue. oak flooring and fittings, we were able to achieve a unique look and feel to this room. The finish was better than expected and one room we have recieved much praise from.
Colours played a huge role in this room to make it as relaxed and warm as could be, which we feel we have achieved, expecially with this retro sofa!
The Challenges
Replacing the large wood beam that runs across the ceiling, then ageing the wood by carving and burning to give it more character.
Also ensuring the room had plenty of ceiling support using additional structure changes.
The Result
In the end an impressive finish that took a while but well worth it when sitting down on the sofa looking at the end result.
